Joseph Umbrico Project Grants
Joseph Umbrico Grants are awarded to create opportunities for adults on the autism spectrum.
- projects must benefit more than one person, though they may be active with one person, then another, then another etc.
- the project must be achievable through a one-time grant of up to $2500
Projects might include programs where individuals participate to develop skills in areas such as: work, recreation, communication or the arts. An example would be a project that creates opportunities within an existing community program.
Funds might be requested for:
- seed money for the project
- equipment or supplies to enhance the project
Organizations or groups of individuals are eligible to apply for a grant if they do not receive operational funding from a government source.
